What strategies can integrate diverse family needs into a unified residential spatial system?

This project was formed based on the needs of the employer and in accordance with the criteria of family members. Creating interactive and recreational spaces for the family and the possibility of collective and periodic spaces were among the design priorities. Also, using consecutive circles to create a form consistent and coordinated with the project activities was achieved.

The Yoga House is a place for calm, meditation, and family gatherings. The house is organized into three main zones, within which all the building’s functions are defined. The entrance and welcoming zone are located to the east, where the salutation to the sun takes place. The morning zone remains fully shaded in the early hours, while the third zone, dedicated to evening gatherings, offers a high level of privacy from the surrounding environment. Brick has been used as the primary material to separate the three zones from the other spaces, evoking a sense of nostalgia and recalling fond memories for the resident family. The central courtyard allows constant connection with nature throughout daily life inside the villa, serving as the place where the sky is experienced from within the home.
